DESCRIPTION:<p>The workshop is organized by Jean-Michel Bismut and Werner Müller. It is devoted to all aspects of real and holomorphic torsion\, with special emphasis on currently active topics\, which include asymptotic real torsion\, and its connections with the asymptotics of the order of torsion groups\, torsion of hyperbolic manifolds\, stratified spaces\, the hypoelliptic laplacian\, and the trace formula.</p>
