PhD Fellowship ERC Consolidator Grant HAPDEGMT
One PhD Fellowship is offered for a talented young mathematician with an excellent academic track record, having completed his/her university degree granting access to PhD studies within the last 3 years (or completing his/her MSc, Diploma or equivalent degree by July, 2014).
The candidate is expected to work on subjects related to the ERC Consolidator Grant
Harmonic Analysis, Partial Differential Equations and Geometric Measure Theory
held by José María Martell. There are no teaching duties.
The appointment will be for 4 years, starting during the second semester of 2014 (the starting date will be agreed with the candidate). The place of work will be the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (Institute of Mathematical Sciences) ICMAT in Madrid (Spain).
The contract will be for a gross amount of 25.000€ - 32.000€ / year.
The candidates should be strongly motivated and have a solid background in Analysis, PDE or Measure Theory.
