The Michael Atiyah Chair in Mathematics, the American University of Beirut:
The American University of Beirut is seeking candidates for the newly established Michael Atiyah Chair in Mathematics. Candidates for the Atiyah Chair should have made distinguished contributions in one or more fields of mathematical science. Applications from candidates who work in the areas of mathematics and theoretical physics influenced by Michael Atiyah will be particularly welcome.
Applications are invited for one research position in the frame of the European project ERC GeMeThNES “Geometric Measure Theory in non-Euclidean spaces” (ERC Grant Agreement N° 246923)(Research Project Director prof. Luigi Ambrosio) whose objective is the study of “Geometric Measure Theory in non-Euclidean Spaces and Possible Applications to Partial Differential Equations and Optimal MassTransport Theory”.
