The American University of Beirut is seeking candidates for the newly established Michael Atiyah Chair in Mathematics. One post-doctoral research fellowship starting September 2010 with financial support from Universit\'e Paris-Sud.

Applicants should be willing to work in the following fields : partial differential equations, microlocal analysis, quantum ergodicity, quantum chaos, spectral theory of self-adjoint and non-self-adjoint pseudodifferential operators, in relation with geometry and the theory of dynamical systems; toy-models of quantum chaos : quantization of symplectic diffeomorphisms, spectral theory of graphs.
An interest in the field of dynamical systems will be appreciated.

The Centre de Mathématiques "Laurent Schwartz" located in Palaiseau, in the Paris area, will award two "Hadamard" positions for outstanding young mathematicians in any area of fundamental mathematical research.

The position is for 3 years, renewable once. The salary corresponds to "Professeur de 2ème classe". This is supplemented by a grant consisting of the possibility to invite a collaborator for one month every year, and 6 000 euros for travel, invitations and expenses.
The teaching load is about equivalent to two courses per year.

The newly founded Doctoral College (DK) in DISCRETE MATHEMATICS offers an advanced PhD training and research program which is run jointly by Graz University of Technology, University of Graz and Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria.
