Full Professor in Functional Analysis and its Applications

at the Department of Mathematics (http://www.uibk.ac.at/mathematik/) at the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics. The position will be based on a permanent civil-law employment contract with the University.

Responsibilities include: Representing the subject “Functional Analysis and its Applications” both in research and teaching. The research area should be in Functional Analysis and its Applications (e.g. Harmonic Analysis, Nonlinear Functional Analysis, Evolution Equations, Banach Space Theory). Cooperation with research groups at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Physics is expected.
