The Algebra and Combinatorics research group in the Department of Mathematics and Systems analysis is presently seeking to hire 1-3 postdoctoral researchers in the field of algebraic number theory and its applications to communications and storage. The positions are fixed term for the maximum period of two years, starting at the latest by September 1st, 2012. Candidates are required to hold a PhD degree before the start of the contract in order to qualify. Successful candidates will carry out research in collaboration with the Algebra and Combinatorics research group active at the department, with some teaching included. The salary is competitive, determined based on experience and qualifications, including occupational health and social security benefits.
