Short description of the event: 

The Iberoamerican Meetings on Geometry, Mechanics and Control are held every two years and are intended for young and senior researcher with interest in differential geometry, mechanics and control theory. These subject matters are highly topical, interacting in a common area of Mathematics, Physics, Mechanics, and Engineering.

Henrique Bursztyn (IMPA, Brasil), Marco Castrillón (UCM and ICMAT, Spain), Gonzalo Contreras (CIMAT, México), Rui L. Fernandes (IST, Portugal), Mark J. Gotay (PIMS, Canada), Janusz Grabowski (IMPAN, Poland), Darryl Holm (Imperial College, United Kingdom), Sonia Martínez (UCSD, USA) - to be confirmed-, Juan-Pablo Ortega (CNRS, France), Edith Padrón (ULL, Spain), Narciso Roman-Roy (UPC, Spain) and Carlos Tomei (PUC-Rio, Brazil).
