Two non-tenure-track faculty positions are available for those with nationality other than Korean in the Department of Mathematics at Korea University in Seoul, Korea. The appointment will be at any level of professorship (assistant, associate, or full professor) depending upon the candidates’ qualification. There is no restriction in the research area as long as it is within the boundary of mathematics.
The contract is initially for 2 years and twice renewable after evaluation, 2 years for each. So 6 years is the possible maximum length of contract. The annual salary will vary depending upon the level of appointment. Both positions are to start from September 1, 2012.
1. Ph.D. degree in mathematics awarded no later than August 25, 2012.
2. Nationality other than Korean.
3. Strong record and potential as a researcher and teacher of mathematics.
4. Fluency in English.
