A two-years full-time postdoctoral research position, renewable for one more year, is available at the Group Analysis and Mathematical Modeling Valparaíso in the Department of Mathematics at Federico Santa María University, Valparaíso, Chile.

The Group is looking for a candidate holding a doctoral degree in applied mathematics, specialized in one of the following (or related) areas:

Control of Partial differential equations and Inverse problems;
Nonlinear analysis of Partial differential equations;
Numerical analysis for Partial differential equations;
Optimization and variational analysis;
Spatial Statistics
