Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Financial Mathematics, Probability and Statistics in the Department of Mathematics at King’s College London. The Department has had a very distinguished mathematical and scientific tradition since its foundation in 1829. It currently has around 500 undergraduate and 130 postgraduate students following its programmes. The Department has six internationally recognised research groups: Analysis, Geometry, Number Theory, Disordered Systems, Financial Mathematics, and Theoretical Physics. The Financial Mathematics group has currently five permanent members (Prof T Pennanen, Dr C Buescu, Dr T Di Matteo, Dr M Forde, Dr M Riedle) and two open positions. King’s College London is a research-led university based in the heart of London with nearly 23,500 students (of whom more than 9,000 are graduate students) from nearly 140 countries, and some 9,000 employees.
