PhD Position, Würzburg University, Germany

A 3 year PhD position is available from Nov. 2012 on at the Dept. of Mathematics of Würzburg University in the field of nonlinear partial differential equations. A Diplom or Masters in applied mathematics is required. The topic is either in the area of finite elements, elliptic PDEs (Prof. Manfred Dobrowolski) or finite volume methods, hyperbolic PDEs, astrophysical applications (Prof. Christian Klingenberg).
