A post-doctoral position in Computational Aero-Acoustics (CAA) is offered at KTH Aeronautical and Vehicle Engineering www.ave.kth.se starting September-October 2012. The successful applicant will be employed for one year to work on a European Clean Sky project, in which the acoustics of low-noise landing gear concepts will be numerically investigated. Landing gear noise is a significant contributor to the overall noise signature of modern aircraft during approach and landing.
