The position is available starting January 1st, 2013, will be paid according to the TV-L 13 salary scale and has no teaching responsibility. The position is funded for one year with the option to extend the contract for a further year.
The position gives its holder the opportunity to pursue her / his own research agenda within the overall research program of the Center. Research collaboration with other members of the Center is strongly encouraged.
Successful candidates are expected to hold a superior Ph.D. in Statistics or Mathematics. Moreover, the candidates should have demonstrated potential for interdisciplinary collaboration, an emerging track record of international publications and a good knowledge of English.
