Postdoc position computational fluid mechanics applied to astrophysics

At the mathematics dept. of the University of Würzburg (Prof. Christian Klingenberg) jointly with the astrophysics dept. of the Heidelberg Institute of Theoretical Studies at Heidelberg University (Prof. Volker Springel) starting Jan. 2013 there is an opening for a 3 year post doctoral position in the area of NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF IDEAL MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMICS ON AN UNSTRUCTURED MOVING MESH APPLIED TO ASTROPHYSICS. The goal is to develop efficient solvers for the AREPO code developed by Volker Springel.

The salary will be according to the pay scale of a public employee E 13, 2.
