We are looking for a motivated researcher with experience and/or interest in stochastic networks and proven potential for pursuing successfully a research career.
The selected candidate will dedicate part of his/her working time to the project “Virtual Machines for Traffic Analysis in High-Capacity Networks”, funded within the SAIOTEK program of the Basque Government, in collaboration with a group of researchers from the Department of Communications Engineering of University of the Basque Country in Bilbao. Specific tasks include modelling, approximately solving and simulating queuing network which models an implementation of virtual machines in a traffic analysis system.
The selected candidate will nevertheless be able to develop at part-time his/her own research line under the mentorship of Peter Jacko, Jonatha Anselmi and/or (external scientific member) Armand Makowski of the Networks group within the Stochastics and Operations Research area at BCAM.
