Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Mathematics
Salary: from £41,041 pa. incl.

Applications are invited from candidates with proven research ability in mathematics. We are especially interested in applicants with research interests in Analysis, Financial Mathematics, Mathematical Game Theory, PDE Theory, Probability, or Stochastic Analysis, or other areas related to current research interests in the department.
You should have an emerging track-record of research at a level of international excellence, including publications in leading international journals in your area, as well as a completed, or nearly completed, PhD in a mathematical subject. You will maintain an active programme of research and will contribute to the general work of the department, including the teaching of a range of mathematics courses.

Ideally, the post will commence on 1 September 2013.
