Lectureship in Algebraic Geometry at the University of Sheffield (in algebraic geometry, very broadly interpreted)

As part of significant investment by the Faculty of Science in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Professor Tom Bridgeland was appointed to a Chair in Algebraic Geometry and Representation theory. The School of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for an associated lectureship with a starting date of 1 September 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. The School of Mathematics and Statistics has a strong research ethos and includes several research groups with international reputations including one of Europe's leading centres for homotopy theory.
