We are looking for a mathematician/physicist with university degree (diploma/master/PhD) being interested in the mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of partial differential equations with applications to organic semiconductor devices.
This position requires the strong interest in teamwork in an applied interdisciplinary research project in cooperation with the Institut für Angewandte Photophysik (IAPP) of the Technical University of Dresden.
Moreover, a successful candidate should have experiences in numerical mathematics and simulation of multi-dimensional problems or in the field of semiconductor physics or organic electronics.
The topics of this project are suited for the preparation of a dissertation.
Please direct your queries to Dr. Klaus Gärtner (Klaus.Gaertner@wias-berlin.de).
The appointment is limited for two years. The work schedule is 39 hours per week, and the salary is according to the German TVoeD scale.
