Job Description: 

The Department of Mechanical Engineering of ENSTA ParisTech is inviting applications for a 12-month post-doctoral position in the domain of computational fluid dynamics. The successful candidate will participate to a project funded by the French Government Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) on "Full-Mach-number-range multiphase computational models for cavitating flows".
The mission of the post-doctoral researcher will be to study and develop low Mach strategies for a two-phase liquid-vapor flow numerical model that we have developed in the framework of this research project.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics or Fluid Mechanics or Computational Science, have a strong background in numerical analysis and computational fluid dynamics, good knowledge of upwind finite volume schemes for hyperbolic systems, and skills in programming (Fortran).

ENSTA ParisTech (Ecole Nationale Superieure de Techniques Avancees) belongs to the foremost schools of engineering in France. It is a member of ParisTech (Paris Institute of Technology). It is located on the scientific campus of Paris-Saclay, in the sector of Palaiseau (approximately 18 km from Paris), France.
