The interdisciplinary research group Optimization and Systems Engineering (OSE) at Åbo Akademi University in Finland was recently appointed a Center of Excellence within research at the university for the time-period 2010-2014. We are now searching for 2-4 PhD students in any of the following areas: optimization, systems engineering, systems theory or mathematical statistics.
