Postdoctoral Institute Fellowship: two one-year salaried Postdoctoral Institute Fellowships that commence in September 2014.
These positions are intended for mathematical scientists at an early career stage who would like to participate in one or both of the semester programs that run at ICERM in 2014-2015:
Fall: High-dimensional Approximation - http://icerm.brown.edu/sp-f14
Spring: Phase Transitions and Emergent Properties - http://icerm.brown.edu/sp-s15

ICERM will match Postdoctoral Institute Fellows with faculty mentors for the entire year.

Postdoctoral Institute Fellows receive a nine-month salary of USD50,000 plus benefits, and additional summer support might be available in 2015.

Eligibility for all ICERM Postdoctoral positions: Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. within three years of the start of the appointment. Documentation of completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree in mathematics or a related area by the start of the appointment is required. For full consideration, applicants must submit a curriculum vitae (including publication list), an AMS Standard Cover Sheet, three letters of recommendation, and a research statement by January 13, 2014.

The research statement must clearly indicate which semester program applicants wish to participate in and how their research interests relate to the scientific goals of the selected program.
