The Division of Mathematics at the department of Mathematical Sciences at Chalmers invites applications for an assistant professor position in Arakelov Geometry. We are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the interaction between our research groups in Complex Analysis and Algebraic Geometry and with a research profile including
- Expertise in arithmetic algebraic geomterty/Arakelov geometry
- Analysis on moduli spaces
- Analysis on Berkovich spaces
Your primary duty will be to conduct your own research in collaboration with the research groups in Complex Analysis and Algebraic Geometry. You are expected to contribute to the expansion of our international networks and to take responsibility for organizing workshops.
Duties also includes teaching for about 25 per cent of your working hours, primarily on undergraduate and master's levels, as well as supervising PhD students to some extent. The position is meritorious for future research and teaching actives within academia.
