Short description of the event: 

The school is aimed at PhD students and early postdocs wanting to learn about topics in algebraic Lie theory and representation theory that are currently of great interest.

The school is aimed at PhD students and early postdocs wanting to learn about topics in algebraic Lie theory and representation theory that are currently of great interest.

The three main courses are:
• Rational Cherednik Algebras. (Iain Gordon, Edinburgh)
• Quiver Hecke Algebras. (Andrew Mathas, Sydney)
• Categorification in Lie Theory. (Catharina Stroppel, Bonn)
These lecture courses will be supplemented by tutorial sessions.

Applications: Applications should be made using the registration form available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GG2Y6DN Research students and post-docs are invited to apply. Applications from those working in industry are welcome, please contact the organisers for further information.
Participants are encouraged to also apply to participate in the ICMS workshop and should indicate this in their application.
The closing date for applications is 11 April 2014. Numbers will be limited and those interested are advised to make an early application.

Fees
All research students will be charged a registration fee of £150. There will be no charge for subsistence costs.
All early career researchers will be charged a registration fee of £250. There will be no charge for subsistence costs.
All UK-based participants must pay their own travel costs. For overseas-based participants, support will be available to contribute towards travel costs.

Fees are not payable until a place on the course is offered but will be due by 30 June 2014.
