Short description of the event: 

The research trimester focus on the role of combinatorial Hopf algebras at the interface of geometric control theory, algebraic combinatorics, and geometric numerical integration.

Targeted at graduate and postdoctoral students in control, computation and combinatorics.
3) Research in Teams: April 19-June 18, Madrid (Spain),
2-4 researchers each work collaboratively on projects for periods of 2-4 weeks.
4) Advanced Course "Modern Algebraic Combinatorics and its Applications to Control Theory": May, 2010, Madrid (Spain)
Targeted at Ph.D. students.
5) International Conference: June 21-25, Madrid (Spain)
Summarizing current research results and redefining future research objectives.
