The FWF doctoral programme W1227 "Computational Interdisciplinary Modelling" at the University of Innsbruck in Austria offers 20 research positions for doctoral students in the fields of Computational Mathematics, Computer Science, Astro- and Particle Physics, Ion and Applied Physics, and Civil Engineering. Each position is intended for a period of three years. The programme will start in October 2010.
At the Institute of Mathematics and the Unit of Engineering Mathematics 4 positions will be available, 2 in Numerical Analysis (supervisor: Alexander Ostermann) and 2 in Engineering Mathematics (supervisor: Michael Oberguggenberger).
