The newly founded research group “Statistical Inverse Problems” (Dr.
Markus Haltmeier and Prof. Axel Munk) at the Max Planck Institute for
Biophysical Chemistry in Goettingen is offering

a Ph.D. and/or Postdoc position (Code Number 27-10)

at the interface of mathematical statistics, mathematical imaging and
biophysics.

We are looking for talented, highly motivated individuals with a
background in statistics and/or applied mathematics. Good programming
knowledge and basic knowledge of biophysics are desirable.
