The Scuola Normale Superiore announces a public selection for two research contracts funded by the ERC grant
"Geometric Measure Theory in non Euclidean Spaces" under the supervision of Luigi Ambrosio.
For one of the two contracts there is the possibility to carry out part of the research program in Zurich, under the supervision of prof. Camillo De Lellis, team member of the project.

The Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa announces a selection, based on work to date and possible interview, for n° 2 research contracts as part of the European Project ERC AdG GeMeThNES “Geometric Measure Theory in non-Euclidean spaces’’ (Grant Agreement No. 246923). The subject matter will be Geometric Measure Theory in non-Euclidean Spaces and applications to Partial Differential Equations and to the Theory of Optimal Mass Transportation.
Length of contract: 24 months.
Gross compensation, inclusive of all taxes: € 80,500.00 for each contract

Applications are invited from candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree in Mathematics or Physics (in accordance with earlier Italian university regulations, or a second-cycle undergraduate degree as per the interdepartmental decree of 9 July 2009) and PhD in Mathematics. Candidates who have completed the aforementioned degrees abroad may also apply, if said degrees are recognized as equivalent to Italian degrees.
Additional competence and/or experience relevant to the choice of the researcher: basic knowledge of English language.

Candidates with all the aforementioned requisites who wish to participate in the selection process must present:
- the application, based on the attached model and drawn up on plain paper, signed,
- photocopy (non-authenticated) of a valid identification document,
- a CV containing a detailed description of the studies and professional experience, as well as any
other information or experience that the candidate believes may be useful to the evaluation of her/his application,
- a list of publications.

Selection Process
Candidates will be evaluated based on their CVs, and the candidate whose experience and studies best fit with the professional profile needed will be chosen.
